The fact that all the cakes I have made so far failed to rise like  a cake should is getting very frustrating. I spend hours on end thinking about how to improve the leavening agents in the batter, where can I be going wrong? is there a secret technique I have been kept from? do bananas have a special chemical in them that counteracts the baking soda?

It is fair to say I have become obsessed with this subject.

Hopefully we’ll see improvements soon.
